About Me

Hi, I'm Donna Tiernan and I am a fully qualified DVSA driving instructor with an up to date DBS (CRB) check.  I live in Oxted and I love to teach people how to drive.  I truly believe that driving is a life skill.  I teach real life driving, not just how to pass your test.  It is important to me to make my lessons fun and enjoyable (well I hope so), so each pupil looks forward to their next lesson with me.  I will put you in very different areas and scenarios as each day out of the road you will learn something new.  It's challenging but the rewards of finally passing and being able to be independent are incredible.

I work with each pupil to tailor an individual training plan that prepares them for their test and beyond. I use a library of diagrams and images to help you understand what you are being taught, why you need to understand the rules of the road and the correct way in which to carry out all manoeuvres successfully every time and also what to remember when approaching every type of junction.
